I have lost 3 more Lbs. (8 total) as of this morning. am doing pretty good at finding things I will eat and the food is really good. Even my blood sugar is real low I checked this morning and it was at 83. My Doc. will be pleased. My Endocrinologist just called with my lab result’s my triglyceride’s are down from 433 to 124. Normal is less than 150.Needless to say she is well pleased.

I am still doing well on the program and my energy level is through the roof. I am thinking my body is saying “oh my, what a great energy source!” We did our usual golf game yesterday on Sunday and I drank 90 oz of water just in the time we were out there. Everyone else was wiped out when we were done but I still felt great and went out back and dug up two dead cherry trees. This is an awesome program! I have never been so excited and pumped up about a diet plan before. And I have tried so many from the Cabbage Soup diet, No Fat diet, Grapefruit diet, Dolly Pardon diet, Hollywood diet, PhenPhen pills, Metabolife pills, 6 Week Body Makeover, etc. etc. Some had good results, but as soon as I slid back to my normal eating habits there was nothing to keep the weight off but going back on yet “another diet”. Some of them were way too much work to maintain for longer than a few weeks. Some of them were not what I consider to be healthy eating. None of them offered me any skills to keep the weight off. None of them gave me the results I am currently getting on the Ideal Protein plan.

I have always told girlfriends that the “scale is not your friend, put it away”. In this case, I can’t stay off the scale, it is so encouraging to see an average of ½ to 1 lb melting away almost every day. When the scale doesn’t show a loss of even the ½ lb, it is only that it has stabilized. I do not regain the weight that I lost the days before on this plan. I have always said that I am the healthiest fat person you know because I have always worked out at least 3 times a week. I have abs and buns of steel under all this fat. All my working out didn’t do anything for losing weight. And I can’t depend on being able to work out to maintain a healthy weight. I wanted to test the longevity of this plan from the start.

I know that my lifestyle says we will eat out at least 3 times a week. So I did just that in my first 3 weeks. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on yet another plan that I couldn’t stay with long enough to accomplish my goals. I have been very successful in my first 3 weeks on plan having lost 15lbs. It was 7lbs the first week. I know that rate won’t be sustained for the length of this plan, but I do feel that I can attain the 2-3lbs a week and keep my lifestyle. I have had those kinds of results with some of the other plans, but after a couple weeks I will gain weight on the weekends only to have to lose the SAME few pounds all over again with no good weight loss success.

My normal weight loss was only about 1lb a week. I am astounded to see it dropping off at a rate of 3lbs a week. Even if it does slow down to 1lb a week and I can keep it off, so I can lose a new pound the next week, I will be ecstatic. You can’t get bored with the program when you see these kinds of results on the scale. Nothing pumps you up to more than to just see it drop almost every morning. This weekend, I am going shopping in my spare closet for all those transition clothes I have hung on to for the last 4 years. I am not ready to buy new clothes yet, but will be so happy to get into my old favorites again for now.

Our next cruise is in 7 short months and I am confident I will be able to wear all those fabulous dresses once again that right now just remind me of what I am missing out on. And better yet, I have confidence that when we return from the cruise I can drop whatever I have gained in just a couple weeks.

“I have seen my mother’s improve dramatically because of the dietary changes brought about by the Wellness Restoration Center’s program. Before we (I went on the diet along side of my mother), started our new way of eating my mother was heavily over medicated. After, just one week, she said, “my mind seems cleaner.” At this point she has gone off of all diabetic meds, bladder control and one blood pressure med, as well as lowering her cholesterol meds by ½. I’m getting my mother back, again. She is becoming feisty again. I have high expectations of her coming off of more of her medications. It’s a miracle how eating right can change your life so much. I have personally experienced improvement in my thyroid condition. My hormones seem to be in balance, new. This has been a life changing experience for me as well.
